Press Release Of The “European-Palestinian Council For Political Relations” EUPAC
On The European Interaction Needed To Deal With The Extremist Israeli Occupation’s Government
10/01/2023 – Brussels
“The person, who intends to kill another person he does not know, must believe only in one thing, which is that by doing so, he will change the course of history.” This statement was written by Abraham Stern, one of the leaders of the Zionist terrorist organizations which was classified as is by different European authorities. It is a statement that became an implicit constitution for every Israeli soldier later on.
Terrorism is not something new for the Israeli gangs that occupied Palestine. Rather, it was an approach whose owners succeeded in convincing the West that this terrorism must be practiced for self-defense, as Jabotinsky, the Zionist terrorist leader said.
In the pre-occupation phase of Palestine, Israeli terrorists within the Zionist gangs such as Haganah, Irgun and Stern gangs, and even after the occupation of Palestine, killed thousands of innocent people including Europeans, Arabs and Palestinians in particular.
Some of these Israeli terrorists were brought to trial and then released after a few weeks. Some of them remained wanted for European justice, but they were never tried.
Yet, the shocking thing is that the Europeans not only turned a blind eye to such crimes, but also received the criminals as heads of the State of Israel, and met with them to sign cooperation and support agreements.
Among these Israeli criminals are Yitzhak Shamir, Menachem Begin, Ariel Sharon and Tzipi Livni, the former prime ministers of the Israeli occupation state, in addition to other Israeli leaders, against whom complaints were filed in Europe on charges of committing crimes against humanity, and carrying out massacres against the Palestinians in the Sabra and Shatila camps in Lebanon, and in Gaza.
However, the European Union’s countries continued to deal with the Israeli governments led by Israeli criminals, supported them, and left them room to commit other crimes. The blood of the Palestinians had shed again, and the sovereignty and interests of countries around the world, including European countries, were attacked.
In the 25th Israeli elections in November 2022, the extreme right-wing parties attained 14 seats out of 62 seats obtained by the right-wing camp in general, which reflects a dangerous tendency in Israeli society based on the rejection of the existence of the Palestinians. Such Far-right tendencies include the displacement of Palestinians and killing them, which constitutes the basis for the approach of the new Israeli Minister of Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, who follows the Kahanist approach that pushes for ethnic cleansing.
This extremist Israeli minister resides in an illegal settlement in East Jerusalem, and according to international conventions, he represents a terrorist organization called “The Hilltop Youth“. He has previously justified the burning of the Palestinian Dawabsha family in the northern West Bank in 2015.
Moreover, Ben Gvir hangs in his house a picture of the perpetrator of the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre in Hebron in 1994, in which 29 Palestinian worshipers were killed.
He still brandishes his weapons against the Palestinians everywhere and supervises the destruction of their property in Hebron.
Furthermore, Ben Gvir himself has been attacking an International Aid Agency (Red Cross) buses that carried Palestinian families in 2017.
He is considered a decision-maker in the settlement file, especially illegal outposts. He also continues his plans to demolish Palestinian homes and confiscate their lands as well as their natural resources, which violate all international agreements and laws.
Ben Gvir has recently stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque as a minister in the new elected cabinet, provoking every Palestinian, Arab and Muslim, violating the current status quo, which prohibits encroaching on sanctities, harming all holy places in Jerusalem including Al-Aqsa Mosque, and maintaining guardianship over it for the Jordanian state.
We call all European policy and decision makers to boycott this new Israeli government, stop lip service doing and condoning the criminals to save the region from a violent wave that may lead to more massacres against the Palestinians.
The European Union statement on the 3rd of January, which only demanded restraint to avoid escalation in the region. We believe that the Israeli aggression is the only act that leads to the tension escalation and all deferent consequences.
The European Union cannot continue the complicity in Israeli crimes such as settlements and failure to prosecute Israeli criminals as well as bringing European-Israeli criminals to European courts.
EUPAC considers that the several agreements between the EU and Israeli state is an impunity for the Israeli officials with their aggressive and illegal actions.
